LEASING RIGHTS - (Negotiable)
You will receive a 256kbps encoded MP3-file of
the instrumental or a CD. This file will be send to you
digitally or by mail. Leasing rights allow you to use this
instrumental for ONE commercial or broadcast
up to 1000 units. You will receive a contract giving
you non-exclusive rights to the instrumental.
Mezonic Productions will still own the rights
to the beat and can release the track after the lease term. The producer will still receive his/her publishing income from his/her PRO. The producer will also receive publishing/composer credits for the instrumental.
EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS - (Negotiable)
You will receive the instrumental tracked out in WAV-files and a 320kbps encoded MP3-file. Exclusive rights grant you limited commercial recordings and broadcasts up to 25,000 units. You have full rights to record over the instrumental in any way, shape, or form (except for reselling the instrumental). This does not give you the right to change the production. Once purchased, no one else may further lease or buy the same instrumental until the duration of the agreement or after selling up to 25,000 units. You will receive a contract in the mail granting you exclusive rights to the instrumental. You will become the owner of the instrumental for the time stated in the contract. The producer will still receive his/her publishing income from his/her PRO. The producer will also receive publishing/composer credits for the instrumental. The instrumental snippet will be removed from this page.
